The Effectiveness of Rogaine
There are literally thousands
of hair loss products on the market today which all claim to be
able to restore your mop to its glory days of your (very) early
twenties. Unfortunately, many of these products result in
disappointment, coupled with a certain degree of humiliation. I
ask you not to despair just yet and spend a minute reading
about the effectiveness of Rogaine.
Rogaine is a topical lotion which stimulates
hair growth in both men and women and research suggests that it
is one of the most effective treatments on the market today. If
you`re in two minds about using Rogaine your dilemma has
probably forced you to read the science behind it and
let’s face it, it makes good sense. So why does the dam thing
not work on everyone? Well, I’m afraid everyone is different
and what we will now attempt to do is examine the that factors
influence the effectiveness of Rogaine.
It is perhaps first necessary to note that
users who have been bald for a long period of time will see
worse results than a user who is only just starting to thin,
which also could explain why the younger users of the
product see better results. This is due to how the product
actually goes about its business, Rogaine works in part by
partially enlarging miniaturized follicles and reversing the
miniaturization process. This prolongs the growth phase of
the hair cycle, allowing the hair to become longer and
thicker. In older users, or users with a large bald area, it
becomes somewhat trickier to identify these miniaturized
follicles.
Evidently it is also easier to
identify these follicles in women over men, which is why
females see a much better results. So, if you are completely
bald and have been for years then don’t waste your money on
shampoo and conditioner just yet however If you have a
lesser degree of baldness then you will have an increased
chance of needing a new comb.
If thats enough to convince you to give it
a try then follow the advice
of people that use this product
successfully. For example, many people use the applicators
that come with the product (and why wouldn’t you, that`s
what there for right?), don’t bother. Rogaine needs to be
applied to the scalp and using the applicator will ensure
that more often than not the product won`t get as far as any
hair that you`re lucky enough to have standing in the way.
It is also worth noting that Rogaine is also dependent on
repeat applications, in other words to see continued results
you must continue to apply as per the instructions. It is a
common mistake to stop applying when the new hair has grown
but do this and new hair will quickly be old hair if
applications stop. Ideally you would apply one bottle and
bobs your uncle, but come on when has life ever just been
that kind!? but at least there are things you can do to
increase the effectiveness of Rogaine.
So to conclude Rogaine is a highly
effective form of hair re-growth. It works for a majority of
the people that use it, however for some, the effectiveness
of Rogaine will be reduced. For a start, this product will
work better on women than men, it will have less effect on
people with large areas of baldness and it doesn’t seem to
like anyone over 55. That said, each individual will respond
differently and there is absolutely no reason why this
product would not work on the oldest baldest man on the
planet. With this in mind, just give the dam thing a try,
you have nothing to lose and everything to
Rogaine.
