Positive Thinking Phrases

Positive thinking is occult because it is trying to conjure up something that is not there, it involves training yourself to see the world from a whole new perspective and utilizing your fundamental capability to produce desired outcomes with positive, realistic beliefs and thoughts. The positive thinking phrases are based on the scientifically-proven fact that thought has a direct effect on feeling which, in turn, has a direct effect on behaviour and performance. Positive thinking is powerful, and it can be an incredible tool, but you must always keep your eyes open to all possibilities and examine every angle and perspective possible of any given issue.

Perhaps the biggest problem with positive thinking is that running around with a big ol’ smile on your face like life is nothing but a big vacation is simply not realistic, and having that attitude can blind you to circumstances that are not so positive. In other words it’s about creating a balance and realizing that there will be times when thinking negatively is necessary and beneficial.

Positive thinking is something you have to do every day as often as possible whenever you can. By practicing positive thinking everyday you create a state of mind where you are constantly positive - it becomes a state of being positive. Positive thinking is a discipline that trains the human mind to change a perceived reality by repeatedly making positive mental statements. A person practices positive thinking when they derive a positive sense of well being, optimism, belonging, meaning and/or purpose from being part of and contributing back to something larger and more permanent than themselves.

It is important to develop the mindset and language of an optimist and it is here we move onto our positive thinking phrases. To get a feel this mindset we will start small. Phrases such as 'I will', 'I can' and 'It's possible' are phrases which create a positive state of mind from the beginning (of whatever it is your doing).

It is also necessary to note at this point that positive thinkers focus on solutions, not problems. When Goliath towered over the Israelite soldiers, they saw a problem: "He's so big we can never kill him”. But David saw a solution: "He's so big, I won’t miss". Rather than say, "I CAN'T do that," positive thinkers ask "HOW can I do that?" They are possibility thinkers, for they can see the possibility in impossibility. Positive self images create positive results we can see in our physical world. Think about the following phrases and how you could implement them into your daily life:

I am going to make a positive impact on the people I come in contact with

I am willing to learn from my mistakes to become a better person
